France, CANCELLED: Bayonne, Arena
This concert was cancelled at the very last minute and the following statement was made the following day. Jay Kay would like to apologise to disappointed fans for the cancellation of last night's show in France. Jay's on-going groin injury has been diagnosed as a hernia which will be need to be operated on later in the summer. Following an MRI scan last week specialists had advised rest but Jay has insisted he wants to try to finish the current run of dates. Doctors have said that provided he manages the pain sufficiently he can continue performing if he feels able. During the course of the past two days the pain flared up again and yesterday he reluctantly decided he did not feel he well enough to perform last night. After two days rest he is hopeful he will be able to complete the remaining 4 shows of the current run, including Toulon tomorrow night. Jay said "I would like to thank fans for their understanding, this is a very frustrating injury and some days the pain is just too extreme to perform to a standard I believe is acceptable. I promise I will do my best to come back out again soon when I'm fully fit and am optimistic I'll be able to pull off the remaining shows of the run."

Belgium, CANCELLED: Antwerp, Lotto Arena
The Jamiroquai Facebook page wrote the following on 28 October - "We are sorry to announce the cancellation of the gig at Lotto Arena, Antwerp (Belgium), on 3rd December. This is due to unforeseen logistical problems, which have led to the difficult decision to cancel the gig. We hope to re-arrange the gig in 2012."
Name: Jae-eun Kwon Callsign: Casino Age: 24 Nationality: South Korean Affiliation: MEKA squad pilot (currently), Talon (currently), Formula 1 (formally) Role: Support Health: 300hp total (200 health, 100 armour) Speed: 6 metres per second Lore: Jae-eun Kwon had a long line of South Korean heritage, but his father moved to Monte-Carlo to work in the many casino’s that worked there, when he was young so he grew up heavily inspired with the annual Grand-Prix and decided he was to become a driver in the future. Once he turned the legal age to compete, he went to the try-outs but could not beat his rival’s time so turned to the one person who he knew could help him, Maximilien. Jae-eun Kwon’s father was indebted to the Omnic for helping him with… other matters and worked closely with him in his Casino Monaco. Swearing himself loyal to Maximilien and his association Talon, Jae-eun Kwon entered the Grand-Prix and his rival mysteriously never turned up to compete. After making it into the big leagues for many years, and nearly beating world records multiple times whilst making his way up to the Talon inner council, Jae-eun Kwon was forced to quit the sport after an effective immediate order from the South Korean government to help with the Gwishin Omnic attacks they were experiencing. Other council members were initially against him returning, but Maximilien managed to persuade them as it was another organisation they were infiltrating. Now Jae-eun Kwon defends both his homeland using La Princesse Sereine and a more inconspicuous MEKA when working on missions for Talon. Description: Casino rides a light green hoverbike which has a windscreen going over him and a pair of fins pointing backwards. The MEKA has a gun positioned just underneath the windscreen and a mortar found on top of the MEKA. Casino himself wears a mechanic’s jumpsuit/ overalls (shooting star cinematic) and a helmet with a dark visor which blocks his facial features from being seen. P.O.V: User sees half a steering wheel along the bottom of their screen Casino’s hands, Casino pulls a bar on the back of the wheel and a pair of indicators (abilities). Primary fire: Fusion Ray: Casino pulls on the trigger bar which is found along the top third backside of the steering wheel he uses. Type: Beam Beam width: 0.2m Damage: 110per second Maximum range: 20m Ammo: ∞ Infinite Headshot: X Passive: Downdraft: All allies in a 15m radius receive a base healing at 25hp per second and enemies receive a – 10% speed debuff, self-healing at 20hp per second. Ability 1: Jae-eun Kwon fires anti-healing grenades which when splash on enemies, have a -50% anti-heal whilst dealing damage to the enemies (there is a 1.0 second delay between shooting each grenade, MEKA can store 3 grenades like Junkrat’s mines. Grenades are shot from canon on top of the MEKA. If an enemy gets hit by a second or third grenade the 6 second timer resets). Damage: 70 per grenade Type: Arcing Projectile Speed: 30meters per second AoE: 5m diameter Duration: 6 seconds Cooldown: 1 grenade is generated every 8 seconds Headshot: X Animation: Jae-eun Kwon slides his right hand down to the right indicator and hits it down with the side of his fist, the indicator will return upright after a moment. Ability 2: Boosters: Casino’s MEKA’s exhausts boost him forward, without falling. Distance: 30 metres only on the horizontal axis Speed: 10 metres per second Cooldown: 5 seconds Note: he cannot gain any height, but he cannot lose any height either allowing him to access new areas quickly without dying (e.g. Hanamura gap), can be cancelled early. Animation: Jae-eun Kwon slides his left hand down to the left indicator and holds it down with the side of his fist, the indicator will return upright after letting go. Ultimate: Enhancement module: Range: 40m and LoS Effect: everyone in LoS of Casino recieves a 1.5X damage buff and 1.5X the healing they recieve. Voice line: “Enhancement module downloaded” Animation: presses the palm of his right hand on the horn and holds it down for half a second. Cannot use the grenades during this animation Voice lines: Respawn: “Need to get back into first place” Need healing: “Pit stop needed” Ult charge: charging: “Approaching the last lap” Ult charge: complete: “The race is on” Hello: Clicks his right hand and points “Hey” “Yeoboseyo” “Bonjour” in a French, Korean accent Cosmetics: Duke: blue King: purple Prince: orange Lord: Yellow Gamble: White and green Roulette: Black and red
Well, I was blown away by the support on my first post, not that a milder reaction would've stopped me from posting this anyway, but thank you! For those that don't have a clue what I'm talking about here is the link to the start of this series and some general guidelines on how these will be set out. So, without further ado, let's head a bit further south, to the sunny shores of the Med. For amateur vexillogists, the flag is right, it is less rectangular than Indonesia, that's the only difference. Principality of Monaco https://preview.redd.it/k3pcbl1dffy21.png?width=127&format=png&auto=webp&s=1d2c4c91b742d54351be7cc22edf05bdb882b360 The Monegasque state is located on the south coast of France, near the Italian border, and retains close ties with both nearby countries. Despite being only 2 sq km, it is densely populated (~38,000 residents) and has an incredibly high proportion of wealthy residents. Possibly this is due to their famously lax approach to taxation and the great availability of yacht parking. Most residents also get great views of the Monte Carlo grand prix and bits of the Monte Carlo rally. However, that does come at a price: citizens can’t go in the famous casinos and property isn’t cheap at around £45,000 per sq m. Surprisingly, football is played in Monaco, with around 64 Monegasque teams playing across 3 cup competitions where it is tricky to find out much about them. Football was initially started in 1975 when Prince Rainier III, the head of state at the time, decided that football should occur and so the Challenge Prince Rainier III was started. In 2018, this was won by the Hospital team for the second time in their history. The other 2 cups were started later and that's about all that you can find out about them. The Monegasque national team has also played a handful of games (though not since 2014) and is a full member of ConIFA, despite eligibility issues (Monegasque passports exempt you from tax so only ~35 people are of the right age and eligible to play for Monaco). They’ve been fairly even against Occitania (regions of Southern France, Eastern Spain and Northern Italy), had a draw and a loss against Gibraltar, several wins against Vatican City and have been hammered 7-1 by Kosovo. They took part in the 2006 VIVA “World” Cup which consisted of 3 teams (1 had withdrawn) and qualified for the final by beating Occitania. They’d lost 14-0 to Sápmi in the group stage and failed to recover, getting annihilated 21-1 in the final. All in all, not the most positive of results. Their disabled team recently won the 4 team ConIFA No limits tournament, however. They will not take part in the 2o19 ConIFA European Football Cup - reason unknown. Being independent, they are technically eligible to join UEFA, with their stadium definitely being up to scratch (AS Monaco are successful in the French league system) but the debate over AS Monaco’s status, eligibility concerns and the lack of a proper national league are all limiting factors. Are they trying to? Hard to tell, not much news has come out from there football-wise. Previouis Posts

Best Places to Visit in France. If You had travel France how was your experience as a tourist.
Paris 📷It could not be possible to write about travel in France, without stating any of the Paris tourist places? From the Eiffel Tower, Louvre and Musee d’Orsay to Notre Dame Cathedral, Ile de la Cité, and Moulin Rouge, the French capital houses some of the most visited tourist attractions in Europe. Originally a tiny island on the Seine River, today Paris has evolved into a traveller’s delight. While it’s a good idea to opt for a Paris tour package that covers all the highlights of Paris tourism, do remember to spare some time to simply soak in the spirit of the place. Because, honestly, there’s no place quite like Paris!
Pont du Gard📷 The Pont du Gard, South of France, is probably one of the most famous Roman monuments outside of Rome. This extraordinary Roman aqueduct is located just north of Nimes. The Pont du Gard is one of 4 UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the South of France. Complete with an excellent visitors centre and Mediterranean garden, the Pont du Gard, is a special place to visit in France. One of my favourite days out with the kids is head off to the beautiful town of Uzes, 15kms to the west of the Pont du Gard. We like to potter around in the town and grab some lunch in one of the pavement restaurants in the main square.
The Gorges du Verdon📷 Europe’s answer to the grand canyon, this deep cliff gorge located in the Provence region is a visitor hot spot. Here you’ll find bright turquoise green waters, outstanding scenery and an abundance of wildlife – it’s not difficult to see why this gorge is so popular. Easily accessible from the French Riviera, the national park is a great spot to climb, hike, kayak or just go for a scenic drive.
Provence To witness gorgeous stretches of lavender flowers and lush olive groves, head to Provence, one of the most famous regions in France. If time is not a constraint, it’s recommended that you spend a couple of serene hours at the Sénanque Abbey, a 12th-century church near Gordes. And then, there are tourist trips to picturesque villages of Baux-de-Provence, St. Rémy, and Avignon. You’ll see imposing mountains, magnificent ancient architecture, and, yes, many, many vineyards!
Monte Carlo📷 I know it is not strictly French, but you have to include Monte Carlo, Monaco in any list of places to visit in France. This tiny but wealthy Principality, covering just one square mile, is the World's smallest Sovereign state after the Vatican. When the state was faced with bankruptcy in 1848, the then Prince of Monaco (Charles III), decided to open a casino. The profits of the famous casino soon proved to be so large that all taxes were abolished and the grateful citizens renamed the hill by the casino 'Monte Carlo' (Mount Charles). Today it is a glitzy place, home of not just the rich and famous but also a legendary Grand Prix. If you get beyond all the enormous yachts and showy jewellery shops, I have always found Monte Carlo quite pleasant to walk around and not too expensive. The view from the top of the Monte Carlo hill up near the castle is absolutely amazing.
Giverny📷 Giverny is a riverside rural idyll located on the borders of Normandy which is most famous for being the birthplace of impressionism. The small village was once Claude Monet’s cherished country retreat and now both his pink shutterboard house and highly photogenic country gardens are open to the public. Planted by Monet himself, the walled water garden (which inspired so many of his famous paintings) features white and purple wisterias, water lilies, weeping willows, bamboo and the iconic green Japanese bridge.
Annecy📷 Which is the most photogenic place in France? It’s a tough call, but many would vouch for Annecy, popularly known as the ‘Venice of Savoie’. Peppered with small canals and a 14th-century Chateau (Palais de l’Isle) right at the centre, Annecy is the kind of place that has managed to stay untouched by time. As you walk down the narrow cobbled streets in the old town, surrounded by a huge lake and snowy mountains, you’ll understand why Annecy is so special.
Strasbourg📷 Located right on the border of Germany and France this heritage city has distinct characteristics of both countries. It’s a picturesque, almost twee town radiating an old world charm which really draws the visitors. Famous for its riverfront half-timbered houses, beautiful gothic cathedral and fondness for flowers, it also makes a great base for those wishing to visit the nearby Black Forest or the River Rhine.
Nice Cannes📷 If you think of the South of France, then Nice and Cannes spring automatically to mind. Along the 120km coast of the Cote d'Azur, there are many places to stop off and enjoy, such as St Tropez (see below), Frejus, Sainte-Maxime, Cap Ferrat and Cassis; but Cannes with its international film festival and Nice with its exotic buildings and promenade have the wow factor. With its broad avenues, wide sweeping bay and golden beach it is not difficult to see why some 3 million people flock to Nice every year. The long sweep of the Baie des Anges is a magnificent beach, bordered by the Promenade des Anglais - named after the first tourists who came here in the late 18th century and began to transform this once sleepy fishing port into the Mediterranean's premier resort. Only Paris rivals it as a tourist attraction. Equally so, Cannes with its 3 local beaches, narrow streets and celebrity visitors is an excellent base for exploring the South of France.
Mont Saint-Michel Second only to the Eiffel Tower as France’s best-loved landmark, Mont St-Michel is rocky, peaked island which is connected by a causeway to northwest France. An imposing sight sitting amid sandbanks and powerful tides, the heritage site is most celebrated for its Gothic-style Benedictine abbey. Directly below the grand monastery is a medieval village complete with winding streets, small houses and souvenir shops. The island is accessible at all times except when the tide is very high. Let's collaborate on a fanfic. Why should Overwatch have all the fun? I'll supply the setup and first segment. Then feel free to improvise off that with your own ideas. We can crowd source the story chapter by chapter and have a New York Times bestseller by the end of the week! It prints money! SETTING: Monaco, during free practice. PREMISE: The gang are getting together to rob the Casino de Monte-Carlo during Grand Prix week, in the most brazen heist ever perpetrated. CHARACTERS: Star: The player character driver. Written in first-person, in other words. Heist team: Lance Stroll, Carl, Emma, Jeff, Claire and Lobot (the mute guy with the camera) Others: LeClerc (actually a spy for the casino?), Lukas (goody two shoes who tries to thwart the robbery?), Devon (tries to do his own heist, fails?) Crofty and Davidson (bystanders in the bar?). I'll let others figure out how they fit in here. Guest cameos: Davide Valsecci. ("My thief of the day would have to be Roberto Merhi. They did a cracking job cutting through the vault door.") Really, all of that is just for laughs/inspiration. There are no rules here. Thread your following paragraphs below mine. I'll start "This meeting is already compromised," I said softly, stirring my drink. It's my fatal tell. I only stir my drink when I'm nervous, like that time in the VIP tent when Ricciardo introduced me to his mother. "What makes you say that?" Emma said, without looking up from her tablet. "Check out the beef by the door," I said. She called up a window on her tablet and it switched to a security cam of the bar at the Casino de Monte-Carlo, where we were sitting. How does Emma do it? I wondered. She'd somehow hacked into the Casino's security platform while we were ordering our drinks (I a dark and stormy, she her usual whiskey sour), waiting on Kubica to finish up free practice 1. "Two goons, suits, shades and earpieces. Looks like they're carrying Beretta 9mms. Entirely ordinary for security," Emma said. "They're course stewards," I said. "Saw them hanging out by Mirabeau earlier today." "Shit, you're right," Emma said, doing a facial-recog scan and cross-referencing that with an employee directory and some Getty images of last year's Grand Prix, all within about 10 seconds. God damn, how did she get so good, I thought. I was lucky to find her. Especially with my contract coming up after France. Still ... "We probably need to convene elsewhere, especially before—" "Alright, everybody, sorry I'm late," Jeff said from behind me. "So, this is where we're planning out le grande caper? Where's Stroll? I thought daddy was paying for this one, too." "Shut up, Jeff!" I hissed. "Understood," Jeff said.

Monaco is a great place and despite it's reputation you can also find food and drink at reasonable prices. The circuit, which remained nearly identical since 1950, is 3,340 km long. Passed the line, the pilot arrives at Sainte Dévote curve, place of many accidents. The track goes up until the left-right of the Casino of Monte-Carlo, from there, goes down again to the right curve of the Mirabeau.
